« La maison Perpitch » was born more than 60 years ago with Mr and Mrs Antoine Perpitch. Marc Perpitch, their son, grew up surrounded antiques, with furniture and « Objets d’Art » in the family. Marc completed his knowledge at the famous Ecole du Louvre and by more than ten years experience in his parent’s gallery and at home as well. This early formation led him to become a reputable antique dealer and also an expert at the well-known Compagnie Nationale des Experts et des douanes in Paris.

Galerie Liova / Marc Perpitch presents Gothic , Renaissance and « Grand Siècle »  (Louis XIV especially) with a selection of furniture, tapestries, mirrors and « Objets d’Art » from France and various  other countries.

As Marc Perpitch wrote: « Furniture and objects reflect  Man ‘s History. It is what I find so fascinating while looking at them !!! »

Inspired by the japanese esthetics in decorative arts, Marc Perpitch opens in 1970, on boulevard st germain in Paris, a gallery dedicated to asian arts.

Searching for rare and genuine pieces, Galerie Liova associates tradition and inspiring works of art. It also presents during the year unusual exhibitions on a given theme such as « le Sens du Détail » and « Lumières du monde…le rêve de l’Homme » in 2012.

Galerie Liova is pleased to associate antique pieces into a contemporary setting, looking for variety and flair in design for a few selected pieces. We take pride in this innovation which contributes to a demand from best international decorators to ally « l’ancien » with « le moderne ». It is a superb occasion to show  elegant and personalized interiors.
